While Kenya's national development strategy, Vision 2030, does not directly address the issue, rapid population growth profoundly affects Kenya's ability to meet its development goals. Based on analysis carried out using the RAPID model, this booklet illustrates the impact of rapid population growth on reaching development goals. It shows how investing in family planning can help mitigate the impact of population growth on the economy, health outcomes, the environment, and social and economic stability.
