Abstract:

By 2040, Malawi could have three times as many people as today if women continue to have an average of six children each. Based on analysis carried out using the RAPID model, this brief aims to raise awareness about the impact of rapid population growth on Malawi's development.

This RAPID brief has been published in two versions—English and the local language Chichewa.
