The USAID | Health Policy Initiative, Task Order 1, works closely with countries in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) to help them achieve contraceptive security (CS) through collaborative involvement with national CS committees, governments, the private sector, civil society, and local partners.
As part of this larger effort, the Health Policy Initiative works with policymakers in Central America to identify opportunities for improving regional cooperation as individual governments assume more responsibility for procuring high-quality contraceptives. This Spanish-language brief outlines related policy considerations for collaboration among El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.
