Abstract:

Reproductive health observatories, known as OSARs, are multisectoral bodies that monitor implementation of family planning and reproductive health laws and policies in Guatemala. This approach, initiated at the national level, has been replicated in various departamentos. Indigenous women's networks have played a key role in decentralizing the approach and monitoring family planning, reproductive health, and maternal health programs in communities.
