The objective of the USAID | Health Policy Initiative (HPI) in China is to promote an enabling policy environment for health, especially programs to prevent the spread of HIV among the most at-risk populations in highly affected regions.
Under Task Order 1 (Mar. 2006–Dec. 2007), HPI fostered evidence-based strategic planning and resource allocation decisionmaking in Yunnan and Guangxi provinces.
